iPhone 13 – Key features and upgrades

Apple’s latest flagship smartphones have generated quite the buzz. The all-new A15 chip makes the smartphone incredibly fast, and the enhanced battery life ensures longer connectivity. The iPhone 13 and 13 Mini are available in (PRODUCT) RED, Starlight, Blue, Pink, and Midnight finishes. The 13 Pro and Pro Max are available in Graphite, Gold, Silver, and Sierra Blue colors. If you aren’t hooked to the idea of them already, here are some more exciting features.

Key Features and Upgrades of the iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Mini, Pro, and Pro Max

Display and design
Among the key features of the iPhone 13 is a durable edge-to-edge design. All variants feature a glass back and stainless steel design. Apple has also introduced a new ceramic shield for the front to protect the phone from falls, spills, and other surface damages. All the models feature a super retina XDR display, with the Pro and Pro Max having a bigger screen size and ProMotion. An interesting feature is the inbuilt support for a simultaneous display of multiple languages.

Camera
Apple has redesigned the iPhone 13 camera module to fit two lenses (one ultra-wide and one regular wide) diagonally. This upgrade allows for more powerful optical image stabilization, increasing the quality output of photos and videos, especially in Night Mode. The same layout is also used for the Mini. The Cinematic Mode shooting allows you to capture professional film-grade shots ready for edits minus the hassle. The Pro and Pro Max both, however, feature a three-camera lens design.

Storage and performance
The iPhone 13 and 13 Mini are available in 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB storage variants. But, the Pro and Pro Max offer an additional upgrade of 1TB over the base sizes. The new A15 bionic featuring a 6-core CPU and a 5-core GPU powered by a 16-core neural engine is extremely fast, efficient, and productive in every performance aspect.

Environment-friendly materials
The iPhone 13 is designed using 100% recycled metals, rare earth minerals, arsenic and chemical-free composition, and meets energy efficiency requirements. Both variants are mass produced at green manufacturing sites that support Apple’s zero waste program and use renewable energy.

Price
The iPhone 13 128GB starts at $799, and the 13 Mini is priced at $699. The Pro and Pro Max start at $999 and $1099 for the base 128GB variants.
